Long Course Class and Student Dance Company Fees:
1 class-$140
2 classes-$135 each
3 or more classes-$130 each
Class fee at the LC level can be divided into 4 monthly payments with auto payment enrollment. Divided payments apply to auto payment plans only.
Short Course Veil & Zill:
$60 for 6 weeks
Beginner Belly Dance for Adults, ATS, Hula I & II, Stretch & Tone:

Salsa & Ballroom Minis:

BEGINNER BELLY DANCE for ADULTS
MONDAY–6pm JULY 26

$48 for 6 weeks per day of the week.
Basic Belly Dance technique will be taught, focusing on correct dance posture, strengthening movements for the legs, stomach, and arms. Belly Dance Level I is divided into two 6 week sessions, packages A & B, that focus on different movements each week and each session to make your dance experience more relaxed and fun. No dance experience is needed. Wear workout clothes to class such as yoga or sweat pants and a t shirt; no jeans or street clothes, and bear feet or soft soled dance shoes.

AMERICAN TRIBAL STYLE (ATS) Slow Combos
SATURDAY–9am JULY 31
$48 for 6 weeks
Don’t have enough me time during the week? This class meets on Saturday mornings and is a fun filled hour of relaxed and friendly belly dance. You will learn the basic steps in a “follow the leader” format and how to how to apply them music. By the end of the session, all students will be able to do an improvisational dance using the steps they have learned. Classes are based on American Tribal Style (ATS) Belly Dance and are divided into Slow and Fast moves. No previous dance experience required! Wear comfortable workout clothes to class.

HULA & TAHITIAN for ADULTS
WEDNESDAY–6pm JULY 28
$48 for 6 weeks Ages 12 & up.
The dances of the Islands are fun, aerobic, and tone the hips and thighs in such a easy way you won’t know you are exercising until your jeans start to feel loose! Our Certified Hula instructor will take you step by step through the basic moves of Hula and Tahitian Style Dance and apply them to a short choreography. Wear comfortable workout clothes to class, no jeans or street clothes. Bring a pareo or sarong if you have one.

HULA & TAHITIAN for TEENS
WEDNESDAY–5:15pm JULY 28
$48 for 6 weeks Ages 5-11
Give your children a taste of a Hawaiian vacation right here at home. Kids love the dances of the Hawaiian Islands and they take naturally to the steps. Classes are fun, easy, and aerobic. Our Certified Hula Instructor will teach your child basic steps and a short dance. Each six weeks will focus on one of the main styles of Hula or Tahitian Dance. Students need to wear comfortable workout style clothes to class.

YOGA for HEALTH and FITNESS
THURSDAY–5:15pm JULY 28
Drop Ins & Punch Cards Welcome!! $48 for 6 weeks. Drop in $10 per class (current students can take this call for only $40 for 6 weeks)
Bring a Yoga mat. Don’t take that stress from your work day home with you! This easy, user friendly class is designed to help you let go of the hassles of the day so you can enjoy your evening. Our Certified Hatha Yoga instructor, Piari Sohban, will gently guide you through each stretch at your level and demonstrate upper level stretches for those of you who have yoga experience. Drop ins welcome!

SALSA & BALLROOM BEGIN AGAIN ON AUGUST 15.
Salsa–5pm $48 for 6 weeks
Ballroom–6pm $40 for 4 weeks featuring the Rumba!

New MOTHER & DAUGHTER BELLY DANCE starts on AUGUST 21 at 10am.
$55 per couple
A fun, low key way to introduce dance to ages 6-12. Bring your daughter, niece, grand daughter, neighbor or friends kid, and learn to belly dance. Its a great way to spend time with that special child in your life and learn something fun, too. Participants will learn a short dance and should wear workout style of clothes.

SATURDAY–JULY 31 1-4pm “ATSfest”
Our newest dance company East West ATS Dance Company is hosting another “ATSfest”. Everyone had a blast at our last ATSfest! If your an ATS gal, come and dance to your hearts content. All levels are welcome! The cost is $5 to cover the cost of snacks and $5 if you want to set up a small vending blanket. Dress out in your ATS finery, show off your best fluffy skirts and cholies! Come dance your ATS off!!!

DANCES TO A DIFFERENT DRUM WORKSHOP & SHOW
SATURDAY–AUGUST 14 11am-3pm
Featuring Scheherazade of Scheherazade Imports of Richmond VA.
Our favorite dance goodies importer is also a very talented instructor with years of amazing dance and travel experience. We will have two workshops with Scheherazade, both will delight and enlighten you!
11am-12:30pm “DEVELOPING YOUR SIGNATURE LOOK”
Traveling-Static-and-Dimensional Dance Concepts. As Belly Dancers we all strive to find our special “look”. This workshop is designed to give you concepts, combination, and techniques that you can use in your own dance to bring it to life. All levels welcome.
12:30pm-1:30pm Lunch–On your own.
There are lots of places to eat within walking distance of the studio.
1:30pm-3pm “DANCES and CULTURE OF THE GHAWAZEE”
Perhaps the most famous of the historical dancing tribes, the Ghawazee were instrumental in bringing the art we now know as Belly Dance to the Western World. Cabaret and Tribal dancers alike will enjoy the class as a way to connect to the roots of their style. All levels welcome.
