INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY
Join us for dance demos and presentations at Aromas in Newport News at the City Center 7-9pm in honor of Dance Day. Studios from all over the world celebrate the art and joy of dance on this day each year, as well as educate the general public about dance. We will be having mini classes in Belly Dance, Hula, ATS Belly Dance and Urban Tribal Belly Dance. Come out for some great coffee and snacks and the best belly dancers and teachers in Tidewater!

The ladies of Desert Wind will be performing three times this year at the International Children’s Festival in Hampton: 12:40-1pm on the Queens Street Stage, 2:20-2:40 on the Main Stage, and 3:10-3:00 on the Queens Street Stage.  We could really use some volunteers to help man the booth during those times.  Its a lot of fun!   If you interested, please call or email Janna.   And be sure to come out and cheer us on!!! We would love to see you there.

We will be at the Sadler Center Commonwealth Stage for the dress rehearsal. Contact Janna for details or questions. Please be prompt! We will not have anytime to repeat numbers if you are late. Be there before your scheduled time and ready to go! Remember that they are still working on the front of the building and you will need to enter on the left side and to allow plenty of extra time for travel. All times listed below are PM!!

Join us for our annual Spring Hafla on April 25 at the College of William & Mary Commonwealth Theater featuring dancers from Janna’s Int’l Dance Studio, Desert Wind, Desert Breeze, B.A.S.T., East West Belly Dance ATS, and the William & Mary Beledi Club. Doors open at 5pm and the Show starts at 5:30pm. Donations welcome. See you there!
