  • LONG COURSE ZILL

    LONG COURSE ZILL

    Time: 7:00 pm
    

    Long Course classes are 12-13 weeks long and focus on more advanced use of the featured prop with fully staged dances that are performed in the end of semester Hafla. Students must have had Package A & B and least one Short Course Zill to advance.

  • ADVANCED CHOREOGRAPHY CLASS

    ADVANCED CHOREOGRAPHY CLASS

    Time: 8:00 pm
    

    The Advanced Choreography Class is designed to challenge the dancer and improve technique to the professional level. Class may include Veil, Zills, Folkloric styles, and personal/professional level costumes that are the dancers responsibility. The dance learned in this class is preformed in the end of semester Hafla and other dance performances throughout the year. Students must have completed all basic and intermediate level classes and have instructor permission to attend.

    INT/ADV TECHNIQUE DRILLS

    Special Price! $75 for 12 weeks for any dancer registered in a Long Course Class! Looking for more than just a choreography class? Wanting to get your belly dance into shape and review/remember all those great steps you learned in other classes? Back by popular request is Janna\'s Technique Drills class. Any student who has finished Package A & B of basic belly dance is welcome to attend. Class is taught multi-level so that every dancer, from rising intermediate to professional will benefit!

      LONG COURSE URBAN TRIBAL

      Time: 7:00 pm
      

      URBAN TRIBAL is taught at the Intermediate Level and has the same requirements as the Zill and Veil courses. The style of Tribal taught is \"Urban\" Tribal that uses belly dance, East Indian dance, Hip Hop, modern dance, and many other dance styles fused together in fully staged dances. Dances learned will be performed in end of semester Haflas.

      YOGA FOR STRESS RELIEF

      Drop Ins & Punch Cards Welcome!! $40 for 8 weeks. Drop in $10 per class. Bring a Yoga mat. Don\'t take that stress from your work day home with you! This easy, user friendly class is designed to help you let go of the hassles of the day so you can enjoy your evening. Our Certified Hatha Yoga instructor will gently guide you through each stretch at your level and demonstrate upper level stretches for those of you who have yoga experience.

    • BELLY DANCE FOR ADULTS & TEENS

      BELLY DANCE FOR ADULTS & TEENS

      Time: 6:00 pm
      

      Basic Belly Dance technique will be taught, focusing on correct dance posture, strengthening movements for the legs, stomach, and arms. Belly Dance Level I is divided into two 6 week sessions, packages A & B, that focus on different movements each week and each session to make your dance experience more relaxed and fun. No dance experience is needed. Wear workout clothes to class such as yoga or sweat pants and a t shirt; no jeans or street clothes, and bear feet or soft soled dance shoes.
